The Situation
Furniture – Kathy Style (FKS) began their search for a new software due to their current system struggling to keep up with their operations (4 locations, 25+ users). They needed a scalable system that would grow with them and be able to handle their volume of business.
Cloud-Based Inventory Management
FKS was looking for a system that they could access from anywhere, at any time, without the functionally/access being affected. Ideally, this solution would not require On-Site servers.
Transfer From Previous Software
FKS had been using their old system for years and wanted to be sure that the transition would be as smooth as possible. They had historical sales data, products, customers, suppliers and stock that needed to be transferred to the new software.
Integrations
As a member of Nationwide Marketing Group, FKS utilized Retailer Web Services for their website along with multiple other integrations that they needed to work hand-in-hand with their POS/Inventory management software.
Barcode Scanning
FKS was looking to streamline their sales, purchasing and warehouse processes to continue smooth operations as they continue to grow. This required having the ability to generate and utilize barcode stickers/scanning through their POS/Inventory system.
The Success
AltheaSuite was able to guide Furniture – Kathy Style through the process of changing systems with minimal stress. Our team was given access to their old system, export their data and upload into their new AltheaSuite account. Additionally, our integrations with Retailer Web Services and Ashley further simplified the process of getting their existing item catalog/pricing into AltheaSuite. They have 24/7 customer support from both our US-based team and our Global team to accommodate them throughout the day. Our team took them through training to ensure they understood the system. On the day prior to going live with AltheaSuite, after they had closed for the day, our team was able to update their opening stock for 9 warehouses overnight and have their account ready to go for opening the next morning.
