Adding your UPC barcodes to items in AltheaSuite

1. Modify An Existing Item

If you already have items on your AltheaSuite, but have not added your UPC barcodes, simply go to the Products ->Items.


Step 1: Select the item you’d like to modify and from item options select Modify.

Step 2: Enable Lookup SKU for name and Description. AltheaSuite will retrieve all the information of the item (Item name, detailed description, Image, etc) and auto-fill it with an image of the product as well.

Step 3: Enter the barcode number (UPC code) into the SKU section using your barcode scanner or by typing the number manually. AltheaSuite will retrieve all the information of the item (Item name, detailed description, Image, etc) and auto-fill it with an image of the product as well.

Step 4: Click Lookup sales prices to view store wise sales price this UPC code. Review your item details and click Update.

2. Create a New Item

Step 1: From main menu options, go to Products -> Items

Step 2: Click on New


Step 3: Enable Lookup SKU for name and Description. AltheaSuite will retrieve all the information of the item (Item name, detailed description, Image, etc) and auto-fill it with an image of the product as well.

Step 4: Enter the barcode number in the SKU field by scanning it with your barcode scanner or typing it in.

Step 5: You can add other information such as item category, sales price, purchase price, tax etc.

Step 6: Review your item details and click Create.
