Creating a Check-out

 In AltheaSuite check out document is created when tool/equipment has actually been picked from the warehouse. Follow the steps below to create a check-out for tools/equipment.

Step 1: Login to your AltheaSuite account.

Step 2: Go to Service Tools and select Check-In/Out option.

Step 3: click Check Out option in the toolbar.

Step 4: You will see the Check Out detail window.    Indicates a required field.

  • Warehouse – Select the Warehouse from where the Tool/equipment has to be Checked-out from.
  • Employee – Either yourself or someone else in the team who will be using the tool/equipment
  • Item – Either Scan the Barcode of the Service Tool or search by the Tool’s name to add in check-out. Note : You will see an error if the selected tool/equipment stock is not available in the selected warehouse. Learn how to receive stock or  How to create purchase in AltheaSuite.
  • Quantity – Enter number of quantities tool/equipment checked out.
  • Expected Return Date – when you will be returning the tool/equipment.

Step 5 : From the line item context menu, select Change Expected Return Date to choose the return date of the tool/equipment. 

Step 6: Enter information as appropriate and click Save when everything is good to go.

Complete a Check-in

When tool/equipment is brought back or returned , you can complete a Check-in and mark the items as available again. 

Step 1: Login to your AltheaSuite account.

Step 2: Go to Service Tools and select Check-In/Out option.

Step 3: Type check out number into the search box and click on the search icon (magnifying glass).


                                                                            OR

Add the filter ‘Status’ as In Complete and employee filter and Select the relevant Check-out.



Step 4: Once you’ve found the correct Check-out, you can choose to check in all tools/equipment or make a partial check-in. From context menu click Check In.


Step 5: All tools/equipment in the check-out document will be added to check-in. Click Save check- in all tools/equipment.


Step 6: If you want to make a partial check-in, keep only tool/equipment that is being returned and remove other tool/equipment from check-in by clicking Remove option. The Check-out stays Incomplete until the rest of the tools/equipment returns.
