Complete Cycle Count by Locations

The Complete Cycle Count by Locations process is used to verify physical inventory against system inventory and correct stock discrepancies at a warehouse location level (Aisle, Bay, Level).

Step 1: Start Complete Cycle Count by Locations

1. Navigate to Inventory → Complete Inventory

2. Click Complete Cycle Count by Locations

3. The system loads all warehouses and their associated storage locations

Step 2: Filter Warehouses and Locations

You can filter storage locations using:

  • Warehouse

  • Aisle

  • Bay

  • Level

Example

Warehouse-level correction
If you want to perform inventory correction for Warehouse 1:

  • Select Warehouse 1 in the filter

  • The system displays all storage locations under that warehouse

Location-specific correction
If you want to perform inventory correction for a specific location:

  • Select Aisle – A, Bay – 10, Level – 1

  • Only the selected storage location is displayed

Select single or multiple locations.

Selected locations appear on the top section.

Click OK to proceed.

Step 3: Cycle Count by Locations Screen

After clicking OK, the Cycle Count by Locations screen opens.

Screen Tabs

Pending Locations
Displays storage locations selected for cycle counting but not yet completed.

Scanned SKUs
Displays all SKUs scanned during the cycle count process.

Scanned Locations
Displays storage locations where inventory correction has been completed.

Step 4: Start Inventory Correction for a Location

  1. In the Location Code field:

    • Scan the storage location OR

    • Enable Show Autocomplete and select the location from the dropdown

Step 5: Scan Items for Inventory Correction

Once the location is selected, begin scanning SKUs in the Serial Number / SKU field.

As each SKU is scanned:

  • The scanned SKU appears in the Scanned SKUs tab
  • The system displays System Stock (current stock in AltheaSuite)

  • Location Quantity increases with each scan

    Example

If SKU A0001 is scanned twice, the Location Quantity updates to 2.

  • The location moves from Pending Locations to Scanned Locations

Repeat this process for all pending locations.

Step 6: Review Stock Differences

The system automatically calculates the difference between:

  • System Stock

  • Location Quantity

Missing Field Indicators

  • Positive value → Stock missing

  • Zero → Stock matches

  • Negative value → Excess stock

Step 7: Complete Location Cycle Count

If a location should not be corrected:

  • Click Remove from the location context menu

  • The location is removed from Pending Locations

Hold the Document (If Needed)
