Creating An Item With Serial Number 

An item can be created with serial number in AltheaSuite by following these steps.

Step 1: Login into your AltheaSuite account.

Step 2: From the main menu option, select Products > Items and then click on the + New button to create new item.

Step 3: Enter all the required information like Item Name, Category

Click on the check box Has Serial Numbers

Click on Add Opening Stock

Step 4:  Fill “Cost of Goods” & then  Click on +Add  (to Add Inventory)

Step 5: Choose  Warehouse,  Opening Stock in Sales Units  and then  Click On Create.

Step 6:  Hit ‘OK’

Step 7:  You may scan barcode for Serial Numbers  Or Click On ‘Generate Random Numbers’  for system generated Serial Numbers. Then Click On Save.

Step 8: Enter Update to save an Item.
