How to Create an Order with Multiple Serialized Items

To create an order with multiple serialized items in AltheaSuite, follow the steps below:

Login to your AltheaSuite account using your credentials.

Navigate to Orders > Orders, and click on +New to start a new order.

Scenario 1:

Enter the required order details

Select the checkbox labeled  “Add new line for each serial number”.

In the SKU column, enter the item’s SKU to add it to the invoice. This will lock the quantity to one per serial item.

To add another quantity of same model, simply enter the same SKU again. This will create a separate line of same model number allowing you to assign a different serial number.

When ordering multiple quantities, this results in multiple order lines, which is may not be ideal for contractor orders. 

Scenario 2:

Uncheck the option ‘add new line for each serial number’ before adding the SKU to the order.

This allows you to enter desired quantity without creating multiple lines for the same model.

Once the item and its warranty are added to the grid, updating the item quantity, will automatically update the quantity of the associated warranty.

Once the quantities are updated and all the required details are filled, you may proceed to complete and save the order.
