Go to “Pending Deliveries”, enter the order number, and click on “Schedule On Calendar” to set the pickup date. This is necessary as the driver needs to collect the return item from the customer.

Fill the required details to schedule the pickup. Once all necessary information is entered, click “Save” to confirm the pickup. This ensures the driver is assigned to collect the return item from customer.

Once the pick up is scheduled, an auto-generated trip will appear (based on system settings).

Go to trips, select the Trip Scheduled Date. Click on the context menu of the particular trip and select “Accept and Load Truck” to prepare the truck for dispatch.

To process a sales return, the returned item will automatically appear under “Loaded Items” section in the trip.

This is the item that need to be picked up by the truck from the customer during the scheduled trip. Click on the “Complete Loading” to finalize the loading process.

This will ensure that the item is included in the truck’s load for the return trip to the warehouse.

Once the loading is complete, select “Start” from the context menu to initiate the trip.

Click on “Start Trip”.

Click on “Deliver”, the screen will indicate that the driver has reached the customer’s address and picked up the item. Take customer’s signature. Add pictures and notes, if required. Once all necessary details are taken, click on ‘Mark as delivered’ and then end the trip by selecting “End Trip”.

After the trip is ended, it will no longer appear in the Trips grid, as the process has been completed and the item successfully picked up from the customer.

Navigate to Deliveries > Picked Up Items.

In the grid, the item status will appear as ‘sales return’.

Click on the context menu (three dots) next to the item and select “Issue Sales Return” to initiate the refund process.

You may process the refund in cash, by check, or by crediting the amount to customer’s account.

This screen is to verify the returning QLN. Click “Save” to save the return.

Once saved, the return will be processed, the refund amount will be transferred to the customer’s account and the item will be removed from the “picked up items” grid, indicating the return has been completed.

To check the transaction, navigate to Inventory > Stock transactions.

You may review the return transaction and verify the stock movement.
