How to Connect Your Email ID to AltheaSuite

To connect your Email ID to AltheaSuite, follow the steps below:

Log in to your AltheaSuite account using your credentials.

Navigate to Settings from the main menu, select Email Accounts.

Click on +New to add a new email account.

Enter the following information to set up a new email account:

Account Name: The name as it displays within Althea.

From Name: The name you want your customers to see as the sender.

Email address to Cc on every email: (optional) 

Email address to Bcc on every email (Optional)

To connect using Gmail, Choose Gmail as your email account type. Once selected, a list of your Gmail accounts will appear – Choose the appropriate one to continue setup.

Click on continue to accept the Terms and Privacy Policy and proceed.

This is an important screen, as granting access here allows ‘AltheaSuite emailer’ to send emails on your behalf using your connected email account.

You will see a confirmation message indicating that your Gmail account has been successfully connected.

Once the account is connected, click on the update button to save the email configuration.

As soon as you click update, you will be redirected back to the email accounts screen where your account details are listed.

To make changes later, click on the context menu of the account to modify the settings.

Alternatively, if you are using a different email provider, select “Other” as the email account type.

Enter the required details, check the box labelled “This server requires an encrypted connection” and then click ‘create’ to complete the setup.
