How to create a Serial / SKU Stock Transfer Request 

 

The Serial / SKU transfer request feature allows you to create a request document for transferring serial number or SKU-based items between locations.
This serves as the first step and it does not transfer the stock immediately-it only creates your transfer request, user should specify the locations and add the requested items. The transfer will then be completed in the second step through “Complete Transfer Request“

       STEP 1 :

• Click on Inventory from the main menu
• Select Stock transfer to open the screen                                      
  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

       

 

 

 

STEP 2 :  click on Serial / SKU Transfer Request on the top bar 

 

STEP 3 : Create the request by filling the required fields –

• Requesting warehouse is the location that needs the stock ( Bothell )
• Sender Warehouse is the location providing the stock ( Redmond ) 
• Add the “Item” using drop down / Scan “SKU” on the left 
• Click on the box under “requested quantity” to change the quantity manually by adding the desired number 
• Click SAVE

 

NOTE : Deleting the item and changing quantity –

• In order to delete an item added , click on the three dots ( left end of the grid ) and select ” Remove ” 
• The three dots also gives an option to change quantity , click on ” Change Requested Quantity ” to do so, by entering the value. 
• The grid also displays the available quantity for better reference 

 

STEP 4 : click on save 

The created Request Document will be reflected on the main screen. 

• The Stock Transfer Request Document will be saved as pending.
• Click on the three dots on the left side ( To approve the request ) 
• Click on “Complete Transfer Request”

NOTE :

• Confirmation message will pop up for an item with 0 available quantity 
• Re enter / scan SKU if the system does not identify an item
• If the selections are unavailable , check the user roles
