How to Restrict Sales Price Discount for an Item

Many Businesses give discount to their customers but you definitely do not want the sales price to fall below certain amount. AltheaSuite has a very effective way to handle such situations. 

Step 1 :  Login to your AltheaSuite account.

Step 2 : From main menu options navigate to Products -> Items.

Step 3: Add a New Item or Modify an existing Item. Here we have modified an item.

Step 4: Mark the checkbox Restrict Sales Price Discount.

Step 5: Enter the “Ensure Minimum Markup%”

Step 6: Select the “Cost Price to consider”

Step 7: From main menu options navigate to Sales -> Sales Invoices.

Step 8: Click on Create Invoice.

Step 9: Select the Item by clicking on drop down list, three dotted button or typing the name. You can also select item by typing or scanning the SKU.

Step 10: Enter the ‘Unit Discount Amount’

Step 11: Do the required changes in Discount amount.

Step 12: You can do the required changes in discount and save the invoice.
