Once an order has been placed, you can send order status check link so the customer can view order status.

As you change the status of the order so it changes for the customer avoiding them from having to ask how far the order has progressed.

To send status check link to customer, follow the steps below.

  • Select the order to send status check and Click order context menu [:]
  • Select ‘Send Status check link to Customer’.
  • This will open ‘Send Status Check Link To Customer’ page. Enter the subject and body as required and click Send button to send status check link to the customer.

To: Refers to customer email id. Enter the email address to send order check link. E-mail address of the customer will be pre populated here. Do not leave the field blank.

Subject: Enter subject here. Do not leave the field blank.

Body: Enter the email body. If you already setup a body template for status check link email, you see pre-defined email body for status check link email. However, you can modify the email body and click Send button to send a status check link to the customer.

  • To modify email body click edit icon and modify the email body as required.

Note: Do not change the link.

 

Click the link to setup Body Template for Status Check Link email.
