How to set credit limit to customer

Credit limit is the maximum amount up to which the company can sell their products to a particular customer as credit sales. You can either set same credit limit for all your customers or individually set it up for each customer.

Step 1 : Login to your AltheaSuite account.

Step 2 : From main menu option, navigate to Customers and click on +New.

Step 3 : To set the credit limit for existing customer, click customer option and select Modify.

Step 4 :.Use System Default Credit Limit: By default this checkbox is marked and uses default credit limit for the customer.

Note: To set default credit limit for all customers, navigate to Settings > General Settings > Default credit limit for customers.

Step 5 : To set a custom credit limit for this customer uncheck Is Use System Default Credit Limit and set the Credit Limit.

Step 6: Once you have specified credit limit click Create/Update.
