AltheaSuite Integration With ShipStation

Delivering the ordered products to your customer is a very common practice but as a Business owner you definitely would not wish to bear the additional charges of delivery. If you have a tie up with ShipStation, ShipEngine or UPS you can get live rates while generating the invoice in AltheaSuite.

Follow the below steps for ShipStation integration

Step 1 : Go to Settings and select Integrated Shipping

 Step 2 : Select the radio button Use ShipEngine / ShipStation. Enter the API key and click on Apply. (Login to your ShipEngine/ShipStation account to get the API key).

Step 3: By default your Sales invoices will not consider Shipping charges. So to activate this option, go to Settings → Invoice Settings.

Step 4 : Mark the checkboxes Enable shipping charges in Invoice. Click Apply.

Step 5 : Make sure your Business Location and Customer has a valid address added.

Step 6 : Go to Sales → Sales Invoices and click on + Create Invoice.

Step 7 : Select the Customer. You can select the Shipping Address of Customer or mark the checkbox Use Billing Address as Shipping Address if Billing and Shipping Address is same.

Step 8 : Select the Item which you want to sell. You can also scan the SKU. Select the Quantity being sold and click on Pay Now.

Step 9 : In Payment window, Click Shipping link button.

Step 10 : Click Validate Address to check if the customer shipping address is valid.

Step 11 : Carrier -> All the list of shipstation carriers. Select the Carrier.

Step 12 : Service -> List of all shipstation services that are available in the selected Carrier.

Step 13: Select the Service and Package Type of Shipping service used. Also enter the package weight.

Step 14 : If you do not want to go with Predefined Package Size select the radio button Custom and enter item size.

Step 15 : Click Create Shipping Label to get shipping cost for the selected service and package.

Step 16 : This will display shipping cost, including all the other information related to a particular product package. Click Print to PDF to save shipping label as PDF file.

 Below you can see the label generated in AltheaSuite.

Step 17 : Review the the shipping the details and click Close to go to payment details screen.

Step 18 : The shipping charges will get added to the invoice total.

Step 19: Select the payment mode and enter the Invoice Amount. Click on Save.

Navigate to Sales -> Shipping Labels to see all the shipping labels created in AltheaSuite.

You can reprint the shipping label and view the sales invoice details for the selected shipping label.
